On Being Heard

Goodpods has named Must I Evolve? among the top meditation and Buddhist podcasts on their platform. I've been sitting with that for a day now, trying to understand what I feel about it.
Not triumphant, exactly. Something quieter.
The show began as a private question I couldn't stop asking myself — must I evolve? Not as an imperative, but as a genuine inquiry. Is change something that happens to us, or something we choose? And if we choose it, what are we actually choosing — growth, or just motion?
I didn't know if those questions would resonate with anyone else. The isolation of making creative work is real. You pour something into it and release it, and then there's silence, and you do it again.
This recognition is a small signal through that silence. A reminder that some of you are out there, sitting with the same questions, finding whatever use you find in them.
That matters more than the ranking.
If you haven't found the show yet, you can listen wherever podcasts live. If you have — thank you for being on the other end of this.
